In the summer of 2011, ZERNA Ingenieure, the industrial engineering specialists, moved into their new head office in Bochum's Technologie Quartier. The 150 employees, who were previously spread over three locations in and around Bochum, have now come together at the new ZERNA company headquarters, with its office space of almost 4,000 m²

In cooperation with WINI and the project leaders at ZERNA, the team from Beck's, an Essen interior design contracting company again produced a unique furnishing concept which was absolutely ideal to match the engineers’ specifications.

As well as WINEA PRO extra broad desks - 2.8 m - which can easily accommodate the A0-size drawings involved in construction plans and tasks, personalised solutions for cable management, electricity access, height adjustment and working surface extension were developed for the workstations.

WINI delivered another special solution in the shape of one-piece shelf and cabinet units from the WINEA KUBUS range. These were designed with a special depth of seven file heights to provide a huge amount of storage space - up to a total height of 2.65 m - for files, plans etc.
